special activation of the station with the call PA898BAT
The radio intercept station will be active between 9:00 and 15:00 UTC, listening for enemy stations between 0,5 and 5 Mhz. At the same time on the ham radio bands 40 to 2 m and on, a special event station will be active with the call PA898BAT, referring to the name of the radio battalion, that was operating the radio intercept station back then. The special event station will be also active on the lower HF bands from 15:00 to 22:00 UTC. A special QSL card is available via the bureau.
